Petersfield’s weekly magazine show, with Claire Vennis and Joff Lacey.

So near, but yet so far apart …

Yes, the P pod is 30. They’re still in lockdown, but Claire has managed to get a longer piece of string and some bigger tins to ensure she drags Langrish kicking and screaming into the 20th century … no, the 20th. And, just in time for the 30th edition!

This week, our radio hams are joined by Katie Maria, who runs a language school in Petersfield, and our own Petersfield Community Radio co-founder, Stephen Martin, discusses a record month for the project.

There is a also a musical birthday tribute to Captain Tom, from the Hampshire Music Service – which includes many people from across the Petersphere – plus another satisfying stroll with Suzie, and some manic money with Martin.

The P pod was recorded on the evening of Monday, 4 May, and produced and edited by 17-yearold (!!) Harrison RB. If you’re good enough, you’re old enough at Petersfield Community Radio. Come join us …
