Over the next 19 months, Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks is installing two new interconnectors to bring additional stability and security to the town’s electricity supply.
The project represents an investment of £8.4m and will result in ongoing disruption to roads across Petersfield town centre, along Station Road, up Rams Hill and onto Hill Brow for more than an year and a half.
Project manager Yu Qian explained to Petersfield Community Radio’s John Welsman how Petersfield gets its power, what’s happening with the project and how it will benefit us living in the town.

Really informative!
