Active Travel and Petersfield Town Centre – Open Forum (Zoom)
Wednesday 3 March @ 19:30 - 21:00
A Petersfield Society Open Forum.
Petersfield Society believes that, where possible, walking and cycling need to become the preferred modes for accessing the services offered in the town, along with provision for those who are unable to do so.
“Active Travel” as it is known is a government initiative to reduce our carbon footprint and improve our health. We want people to enjoy an improved town centre and, increasingly, to shop local.
Will this happen here in Petersfield?
Speakers:
John Palmer, Petersfield Town Councillor and an author of the Petersfield Neighbourhood Plan
Rob Mocatta, Hampshire County and EHDC councillor and chair of Petersfield Strategy Group
Zoom in to hear the speakers, then have your say and hear the views of a panel of experts who include Shine Radio’s Meg Allin and Sacha Fairweather.
To register, please email events@petersfieldsociety.org.uk and we will respond with more details of the event and the link to access the forum.
